It is my proud privilege and honour to welcome you all at the inauguralceremony of 139th Foundation Day & Prize Distribution Ceremony of N.R.S.. Medical College & Hospital which will be held today on 1.12.2011 in the Auditorium of Academic Building where honorable guests and respected authorities of West Bengal Medical Education and University of Health Sciences will participate in the function which is unique by itself.
I have tried my best to improve the patient care services and maintain customer satisfaction as far as practicable under the existing infra-structure since the day of my joining this Institution. N.R.S. Medical College being the oldest Medical College in West Bengal claims to be one of the biggest Government Hospitals in Asia having the basic infrastructure. It only needs proper mobilization and utilization of the resources to get the maximum out of it. In view of the above we are keeping in touch as and required with the respected Principal and all the Heads of different Departments to discuss and clear off the bottlenecks so that the Patient Care Services may be improved further.
It is a happy occasion for me to announce that a Neurology LC.U. and an indoor Radiotherapy Unit are going to be opened in this hosptaI very shortly.Furthermore, the O.T. Complex of Dr. Ahmed Dental College & Hospital that existed in our hospital has been shifted to their new complex. The space created will be fruitfully utilized by the Haemotology Deptt. of our hospital. This expansion of Haematology Deptt. for better patient care will be an unique achievement as the said department is said to be the best in its field in Eastern region.
